Removal of Cresol Red by Adsorption Using Wastepaper

چکیده
The utilization of less expensive and more effective adsorbents derived from a variety basic materials has been investigated. research aimed to investigate the feasibility employing waste paper as adsorbent remove cresol red (CR) dye wastewater through adsorption mechanism. Langmuir, Jovanovic, Freundlich model were observed for isotherms models, while pseudo-first-order pseudo-second-order examined kinetic models. results indicated that increasing dose contact time gave no significant effect capacity increased with pH until it reached maximum at 8, raising starting concentration leads in increase (16.7 mg/g). When experimental fitted using models model, was discovered those accurately represented by data, high correlation coefficient (R2) 0.974 0.963.

Adsorption Rate of 198 Reactive Red Dye from Aqueous Solutions by using Activated Red Mud
Backgroud and purpose: Dye is one of the problems of industrial effluent such as textile industries. The dyes can be removed by various methods. Therefore, the aim of this study was the evaluation of adsorption rate of reactive red 198 from aqueous solution by activated red mud. Materials and methods: This research was a lab study. Activated red mud was used as an adsorbent to remove reactive r...
متن کاملRemoval of P-cresol sulfate by hemodialysis.
Protein-bound solutes are poorly cleared by dialysis. Among the most extensively studied of these solutes is p-cresol, which has been shown to be toxic in vitro. This study examined the form in which p-cresol circulates and quantified its removal by hemodialysis. HPLC analysis of plasma from hemodialysis patients contained a peak whose mobility corresponded to synthetic p-cresol sulfate (PCS) b...
متن کاملAllogeneic red blood cell adsorption for removal of warm autoantibody.
Adsorption studies are usually required to confirm or rule out the presence of underlying alloantibodies in samples containing warm autoantibody. Allogeneic adsorptions are necessary if the patient has been recently transfused. Most commonly, allogeneic adsorptions are performed using a trio of phenotyped reagent red blood cells to rule out clinically significant alloantibodies to common antige...
متن کاملRemoval of phenol from water by adsorption-flocculation using organobentonite.
Bentonite modified with short chain cationic surfactant might be the basis of a new approach to removing organic pollutants from water. The treatment process involves dispersing bentonite to the contaminated water and then adding a small cationic surfactant so as to result in flocs which are agglomerates of organobentonite and bound organic pollutants. The flocs are then removed from the soluti...

AND YUEFENG F. XIE aloacetic acids (HAAs) and trihalomethanes (THMs) are the major disinfection by-products (DBPs) found in chlorinated drinking water. Nine species of HAAs are commonly found in chlorinated water: monochloroacetic acid (ClAA), monobromoacetic acid (BrAA), dichloroacetic acid (Cl2AA), bromochloroacetic acid (BrClAA), dibromoacetic acid (Br2AA), trichloroacetic acid (Cl3AA), brom...
